Frequently asked questions for Wallet
This is a collection of frequently asked questions about Wallet on StackR. If you can't find your answer here, please reach out to support via the chat widget or email community@stackr.world.
How do I cash out my OMI / tokens?
Cashing out OMI is a 2-step flow:
- Swap OMI to USDC or ETH — use the StackR wallet's built-in swap.
- Send to your exchange — copy your exchange deposit address, pick the Base network, and send.
Most exchanges (Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, Kucoin) don't yet support Base OMI directly — that's why step 1 (swap to USDC/ETH on Base) is required. The exception is BingX, which currently supports Base OMI directly, so you can skip the swap and send OMI straight there if you prefer.
Note: the Base → Ethereum L1 bridge still works if your exchange only supports Ethereum L1, but the native withdrawal via Superbridge takes 7 days (Optimistic Rollup challenge window). There is no fast withdrawal option.

How do I migrate OMI from VeVe to StackR?
The OMI migration tool is no longer available. To move OMI from VeVe to StackR now, you need to contact VeVe support directly — they handle on-VeVe wallet operations.
VeVe support: https://help.veve.me
If you've sold a collectible on VeVe and the OMI is in your VeVe wallet, only VeVe can release it. We've unfortunately no longer have access to the migration pipeline.
How do I transfer OMI between wallets?
To transfer OMI between StackR wallets (or to an external wallet):
- Open StackR Wallet → tap OMI.
- Tap Send → enter destination address.
- Pick the right network — usually Base (most cases). Match the destination wallet's network exactly. Sending Base OMI to an Ethereum-only address means funds are stranded.
- Confirm; transaction takes ~30 seconds on Base.
If transferring between two StackR wallets (e.g. yours + a friend's), use the wallet address from the receiver's top-of-wallet display. Both must be on the same network.
Which wallet address should I use?
Your StackR wallet address is shown at the top of the Wallet view, just below "StackR Wallet". Tap the copy icon to grab it.
Important:
- The same address is valid on both Base and Ethereum L1 (it's an EVM address).
- Specify the network when sending or receiving — sending Base OMI to an Ethereum-only contract means lost funds.
- For receiving from an exchange, always check that the exchange supports the network (most support Base for OMI; some only support Ethereum L1).
The OMI migration tool isn't working anymore — what now?
Correct — the OMI migration tool was deprecated. We had to remove it after the upstream API changes.
To move OMI out of VeVe now:
- Contact VeVe support at https://help.veve.me — they can manually release OMI from your VeVe wallet.
- Once OMI is at an address you control, you can bridge it to Base (via Superbridge) or send it directly into StackR.
We're sorry for the inconvenience. If VeVe support is slow, please let us know and we'll see if there's any escalation we can help with.
How do I cash out to Metamask / external wallet?
StackR uses Privy smart accounts. Your wallet has two addresses:
- The smart-contract address that holds your OMI/USDC/ETH/collectibles (visible in StackR)
- The EOA signer address that controls the smart contract — this is what your exported private key is
Important: importing your exported StackR private key into Metamask alone will NOT show your StackR assets — Metamask sees the empty EOA signer at a different address. The assets stay locked in the smart contract.
To move funds out:
-
For cash-out (most users) — use the in-wallet swap + send flow. See "How do I cash out my OMI / tokens?" — no key export needed.
For full migration to a self-custody wallet — use the StackR recovery tool at https://recover-funds.stackr.world/.
- Export key from StackR: stackr.world/settings/profile → Export my wallet → Copy key
- OR export from Privy: home.privy.io/apps → sign in → open "StackR" app → Export keys → Copy Key
- Paste the key into recover-funds.stackr.world to move smart-account funds to a destination address of your choice (Metamask, Coinbase Wallet, exchange deposit, etc.)
Never share your private key. Only paste it into the official recover-funds.stackr.world or into your own self-custody wallet.
"You are not allowed to perform this action" — error
This error usually means there's a mismatch between your StackR email and your VeVe-linked email — the action you're trying (listing, transferring, etc.) requires verified ownership, and the linkage is incomplete.
To fix:
- Re-authenticate VeVe — Settings → Connected Accounts → Reconnect VeVe.
- Confirm both emails are linked — your StackR account and your VeVe account.
- If still blocked, send us your StackR email + VeVe username; we'll fix the linkage manually.
